Albanian Copyright Office and Australian Department of Education Sites Breached

The 13 year-old hacker known as s3rver.exe wanted to demonstrate once again that government websites were highly insecure. To prove his point, he breached a couple of sites from completely different parts of the world: the Albanian Copyright Office (zshda.gov.al) and Australian Department of Education and Child Development (decd.sa.gov.au).

According to the hacker, the Albanian Copyright Office site contained a number of vulnerabilities, including a Blind SQL Injection and cross-site scripting (XSS). s3rver.exe didn’t leak anything from the website’s database because he claimed there wasn’t anything “interesting.”

From the site of the Australian Department of Education and Child Development he published around 1,100 names, email addresses, IDs and group names.

“I hacked the Australian Government site because they don't care about vulnerabilities and there servers. The same with the Albanian government site,” s3rver.exe told us.
